This Privacy Policy outlines how MoodSoundtrack collects, uses, and protects user information when you interact with our mobile application for iOS, Android, and its wearable companion extensions (Apple Watch / Wear OS).

1. Information We Collect

MoodSoundtrack prioritizes user privacy. Most of your data remains strictly stored on your personal device:

• Locally Stored Data: Your preferences, emotion selections, current mood, and saved cultural recommendation history are stored locally on your device via secure storage (AsyncStorage) and synced directly to your smartwatch via native device-to-device bridges.
• Purchases & Subscription Status: In-App Purchases and subscription entitlements are handled via RevenueCat (react-native-purchases) and official Apple/Google payment services. We never store or process your financial or credit card information directly.
• Analytics & Diagnostic Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage metrics, app crash reports, and system diagnostics to improve app performance and user experience.
• Advertising Identifiers: If you explicitly grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) to deliver relevant native advertisements via Google Mobile Ads.

2. Device Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): Used on iOS to request your permission before delivering personalized ads. You can deny this request and use the app normally.
• Wearable Companion Connectivity: Used to mirror your mood recommendations and sync history records directly with your paired Apple Watch or Wear OS smartwatch.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to power specific app functionalities. Please review their respective privacy policies:

4. Data Control and Deletion

You can delete your saved cultural history entries at any time directly within the app's History section, or wipe all app data completely by clearing application storage or uninstalling the app from your device.

MoodSoundtrack does not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
